Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced IT Project Manager with 3-5 years of proven experience in managing and delivering IT projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management methodologies, excellent organizational and communication skills, and the ability to lead cross-functional teams. You will be responsible for the planning, execution, and delivery of various IT projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ability to develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and risk management strategies

• Capability to are capture and document project requirements

• Lead project teams, ensuring clear communication and alignment on project goals

• Monitor project progress and performance, using appropriate tools and techniques

• Manage project changes and mitigate risks, ensuring minimal disruption to project timelines

• Maintain project documentation and ensure it is up-to-date and accessible to relevant stakeholders

• Provide regular updates on project status, issues, and risks to stakeholders

• Conduct project reviews and lessons learned sessions

• Prepare and present final project reports, ensuring successful project closure

• 3-5 years of experience as either a Project Coordinator or Project Manager

• 2+ years of experience working application implementation on premise or SaaS

• Knowledge of Waterfall, Agile and Hybrid methodology

• Strong communication skills, written and verbal

• Strong skillset with Microsoft Project and Excel

• Ability to lead a geographically diverse team

• PMP Certification

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, or Project Management

• Workers Compensation experience


Day to Day:

• An IV Innovation customer needs a contract to hire IT Project Manager in the Birmingham, AL area. This person will be managing an implementation for a SaaS PAS for 6-12 months. This position will work onsite M-F 8am-5pm.
