Our Newark Plant is looking for a Metrology Engineer to join our team


Responsibilities

  • Update CMM software
  • Maintain the CMM
  • Test and calibrate equipment
  • Precisely measure and program CMM for production
  • Read blueprints and renderings
  • Perform layouts
  • Write or edit programming for new projects
  • Mount and install tools, attachments and fixtures
  • Troubleshoot functions
  • Perform in-process and final inspections
  • Document and communicate production issues
  • Keep a record of inventory
  • Supervise other employees
  • Follow safety protocols


Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in the Automotive Industry
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar position
  • Product knowledge
  • Process knowledge
  • Control plan experience
  • Problem-solving experience and methodologies
  • Leadership experience
  • Experience leading work or teams
  • Customer specific requirements
