Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough inspections of new components and products to ensure they meet specifications.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate documentation for inspection processes.
  • Verify the presence of inspection reports and Certificates of Conformance (CoC) with shipments.
  • Measure and inspect critical dimensions and features of parts.
  • Document inspection results in our Material Requirements Planning (MRP) systems and inspection check sheets.
  • Support material handling and physical inventory processes.
  • Assist in writing and updating inspection procedures.
  • Communicate effectively with co-workers and engineers to optimize inspection methods.
  • Maintain and calibrate test hardware.

Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of technical drawings and Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
  • Proficiency in using various inspection tools and metrology equipment.
  • Experience with quality assurance in manufacturing environments.
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001 procedures and quality management systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical specifications and standards.
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Excellent documentation and reporting abilities.
  • Computer literacy, including proficiency in MS Office and MRP systems.
