Commercial AV - Lead Audio Visual Travel Engineer

We are in search of skilled and experienced Lead Audio Visual Travel Engineer to join a successful Government / Commercial AV Integrator.

Responsibilities:

The AV installation Technician will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and service of professional audio, video, control systems professional lighting, and electronic equipment. Installer/technician is responsible for completing projects most efficiently and effectively. All work must meet the highest quality standards set forth by the Company while assuring a professional and safe working environment.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in the installation of audio, video, and/or audiovisual, presentation systems, and IT/Networks.
  • Must have experience working on Audio Visual systems such as Crestron, Extron, Biamp, AMX, Shure, QSC.
  • Ability to work independently, be self-directed, and make sound decisions based on customer satisfaction.
  • Must have excellent communication skills and possess excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to do advanced troubleshooting on any device.
  • Ability and willingness to travel to customer sites.
  • InfoComm CTS Certification preferred. Any other key industry certifications are a plus(Creston, Extron, Biamp, AMX, Dante).
  • Minimum of 5 years installing audiovisual equipment including video panels, speakers, racking, microphones, A/V cabling and wiring.
  • Minimum of 5 years in commissioning experience
  • Loading and configuration of Crestron control systems.
  • The ability to lift 50-60 lbs., climb, crawl, and raise items overhead.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50 %.
  • With a clean criminal record
