About the Job: Corporate Business Development Manager
As a Corporate Business Development Manager at IHS, you'll be at the forefront of our mission to cultivate brand awareness and foster relationships with key stakeholders. From owners to operators and designers, you'll navigate the corporate landscape with finesse, paving the way for new opportunities and driving growth. With the potential for advancement to regional sales management, this role offers both financial rewards and travel opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and cultivate qualified leads, nurturing them into opportunities for product interest and quotes.
- Leverage existing databases to generate further opportunities and maximize outreach efforts.
- Establish and maintain relationships with key decision-makers, including General Managers, F&B Managers, Executive Chefs, and designers, to understand clients' needs and expectations fully.
- Collaborate with the IHS Sales Support Team to develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy.
- Drive the generation of new business opportunities through proactive outreach and relationship building.
Essential Skills & Criteria for the Role
- Proven experience in opening high-value opportunities and driving business growth.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage internal and client-based stakeholders effectively.
- Confidence in cold calling and converting cold and warm leads into opportunities.
- Proficiency in CRM systems and utilizing data to drive results.
- High emotional intelligence to navigate complex relationships and win over stakeholders.
- Previous experience in the hospitality industry and qualifications in a related discipline are preferred.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Strong time management and organizational skills to prioritize tasks effectively.
- A strong work ethic and a passion for personal and professional development.
- Desire to interact with diverse cultures and manage language barriers.
- Flexibility in accommodating different time zones and travel requirements.
