About the Job: Corporate Business Development Manager

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and cultivate qualified leads, nurturing them into opportunities for product interest and quotes.
  • Leverage existing databases to generate further opportunities and maximize outreach efforts.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key decision-makers, including General Managers, F&B Managers, Executive Chefs, and designers, to understand clients' needs and expectations fully.
  • Collaborate with the IHS Sales Support Team to develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy.
  • Drive the generation of new business opportunities through proactive outreach and relationship building.


Essential Skills & Criteria for the Role

  • Proven experience in opening high-value opportunities and driving business growth.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage internal and client-based stakeholders effectively.
  • Confidence in cold calling and converting cold and warm leads into opportunities.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems and utilizing data to drive results.
  • High emotional intelligence to navigate complex relationships and win over stakeholders.
  • Previous experience in the hospitality industry and qualifications in a related discipline are preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • A strong work ethic and a passion for personal and professional development.
  • Desire to interact with diverse cultures and manage language barriers.
