Position Summary:


The Information Technology (IT) IT Operations Manager will oversee the maintenance, support, and optimization of the organization's technology infrastructure, ensuring their reliable operation and performance. This role focuses on how the organization is performing efficiently and effectively by leveraging technology. This role is essential in promoting interdepartmental collaboration and proficiency across the organization to enhance our business.


Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Reviews, analyzes, and evaluates business procedures with quantitative and qualitative metrics to evaluate the company’s efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Assesses coordination and integration of efforts among operations, technology, and customer service to produce smoother workflow and more cost-effective business processes.
  • Supports long-term planning that enhance the company’s goals, identifying opportunities to expand or shift course based on market changes.
  • Identifies potential problems and points of friction, while recommending innovative solutions to enhance operational effectiveness and competitive advantage.
  • Evaluates current technology use and needs of the company and recommends software and hardware improvements.
  • Identify opportunities for automation and implement solutions to streamline processes.
  • Oversee vendor relationship(s) to support the design, implementation, and maintenance of IT systems, networks, and hardware.
  • Implement risk management strategies to mitigate operational and cybersecurity risks.
  • Provide technical support to users and develop network troubleshooting strategies to help reduce downtime and decrease maintenance costs.
  • Prioritize and manage IT projects from planning through execution, ensuring timely delivery and within budget based on strategic objectives and resource availability.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards related to IT operations, staying up to date with new network technology.
  • Work closely with other department Managers to assess the growth needs and maintenance of the company’s network.
  • Design and automate regular reporting processes to efficiently track network health and system statuses.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.


Required Skills and Abilities:

  • At least 5 years of related experience required
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required ; college degree, or trade school training preferred
  • Extremely proficient with Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
  • Proficient knowledge of IT best practices, policies and regulations
  • In-depth understanding of programming, computer science and digital security
  • A clear understanding of client/server technology and network architecture
  • Extensive knowledge of office administration, clerical procedures, and recordkeeping systems.
  • Able to type minimum of 50 words per minute.
  • Positive ‘can do attitude’ and solution finder
  • Excellent attention to detail with strong communication skills and resourcefulness
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with team members and clients
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license with a reliable vehicle.
  • Must pass any and all background checks


Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:


  • Office environment, Hybrid eligible
  • While performing the duties of this job, repetitive use of hands or arms, lifting will be required occasionally.
  • Need to lift up to 20 pounds, stoop, bend, and walk.
  • Prolonged periods of sitting and working on a computer.
  • Full time 40 Hours/week; Monday-Friday
