Position Title: Administrative Assistant

Duration: Contract to hire

Location: Onsite in Hillsboro, Oregon

Pay Range: $21 - $26 per hour DOE

Hours: M-F, 8am-5pm (some flexibility)


Job Summary: LHH Recruitment is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our global clients team based in Hillsboro, OR. Our client is been in business for over a century and now operates in many countries around the world. They put a focus on collaboration, sustainability, and a people first focus. The successful candidate for this role will provide comprehensive administrative support for the accounting, purchasing and operations teams.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and coordinate meetings and events.
  • Record, transcribe, and distribute minutes of meetings.
  • Assist with the preparation of business presentations including text, overheads, and electronic presentations.
  • Order office supplies and inventory, distributing amongst teams.
  • Assist the procurement team with inventory counts and reporting.
  • Assist the sales and accounting teams with purchase orders, invoicing and accounts payable.
  • Coordinate and book travel for employees and visitors.
  • Other ad hoc projects and tasks as needed.



Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED required; Bachelors Degree preferred.
  • Minimum one and ideally two or more years of administrative experience.
  • Knowledge of office management systems and procedures.
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office.
  • Self-starter with the desire to learn.
