Must Haves:

  • 0-2 years of prior relevant experience: working directly with an electric utility or an electric utility consulting company, performing design engineering
  • OR could have: strong construction background, design work, civil engineering, electrical experience and programming experience
  • Must be comfortable in both a field and office setting (mainly field)
  • Interest in developing construction work packages for the electric distribution system using various software systems and construction standards
  • Candidate must provide their own reliable transportation (local customers/sites – will be reimbursed for mileage)
  • This role will involve 80% travel around the surrounding cities/fielding for customer requirements, meeting with construction/project managers and driving timelines on projects


Day to Day:

A company is looking for an Engineering Technician to join their team.

  • Responsible for providing support to engineers on technical projects and/or products
  • Assist in scheduling and developing construction plans for the project work
  • Assist in work packages, construction plans, bill material and will be in charge of the scope of work schedule.
  • Collects, maintains, organizes, compiles, and manipulates technical data.
  • Travel to job site to collect necessary documentation and supplementary data (notes, photos, measurements, etc.)


Compensation:

$17/hr to $23/hr.


Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.


Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
