We are seeking a dynamic Solutions Engineer to join our team in New York, supporting our cutting-edge workflow and data analytics platform. This role is ideal for a problem-solver with a deep understanding of SaaS technology and a background in financial services, particularly within the Capital Markets.


Role Overview:

As a Solutions Engineer, you will be the key technical resource for our sales team, working closely with prospects and clients to understand their needs, demonstrate our platform's capabilities, and deliver customized solutions that address complex challenges in the Capital Markets. You will be instrumental in bridging the gap between our product’s technical features and the business value it brings to clients.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Technical Pre-Sales Support: Partner with sales teams to provide deep technical expertise throughout the sales process, including product demonstrations, solution design, and addressing technical inquiries.
  • Client Requirements Analysis: Work closely with potential clients to gather detailed requirements, understand their business challenges, and design tailored solutions using our platform.
  • Product Demonstrations and Proof of Concept: Deliver engaging product demos and lead proof-of-concept engagements that clearly showcase the platform’s capabilities in solving client-specific issues.
  • Solution Design & Architecture: Develop and present technical solutions that align with client needs, ensuring scalability, integration with existing systems, and long-term success.
  • Industry Expertise: Leverage your knowledge of the Capital Markets, including trading workflows, regulatory requirements, and data management, to position our platform as a critical tool for financial institutions.
  • Collaboration with Product & Engineering: Provide feedback to the product and engineering teams based on client interactions, helping to guide the future development of features and capabilities.


What We’re Looking For:

  • Technical Expertise in SaaS and Capital Markets: 5+ years of experience in a solutions engineering, pre-sales, or technical consulting role within the financial services industry, specifically the Capital Markets.
  • Strong Financial Domain Knowledge: In-depth understanding of trading systems, market data, financial analytics, and regulatory compliance in Capital Markets.
  • Proven Success in Client-Facing Roles: Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, building trust and guiding prospects through the technical decision-making process.
  • Problem-Solving and Solution Design Skills: Adept at translating client requirements into effective technical solutions, with a focus on maximizing client value.
  • Collaborative and Proactive Mindset: Team-oriented with a proactive approach to working across sales, product, and engineering teams.
