The Consumer Insights Manager will be responsible for driving functional excellence. This person will have a passion for the consumer through valuable insights, strategic thinking and creative problem solving. You will use your experience with syndicated and POS data to equip the sales and planning teams with forward thinking opportunities to help drive the business. Your ability to synthesize data and present it to all levels of the organization will be crucial to garnering consensus in the company.


Responsibilities:

  • Expertise in the apparel industry (socks and underwear most importantly) with consumer behavior, demographic and retail trends
  • Ability to use external and internal data and dig deep to determine patterns behind the data to craft expert analysis
  • Take the initiative to solve problems and uncover whitespace opportunities
  • Polished verbal and written communication skills and ability to adapt your style to the audience
  • Adept at translating patterns in data to forward-looking, visually engaging insightful content
  • Experience working with syndicated data like Circana/IRI, Nielsen, and comfortable learning new platforms like Luminate
  • Deliver updates on the market and state of the industry in both regular monthly and ad hoc reporting
  • Ownership of data attribution, organization and maintenance within reporting platforms
  • Strong collaboration skills with ability to develop strong internal relationships with cross-functionals along with external relationships with third party reps


Qualifications:

  • BA or BS
  • 5+ years of experience in consumer insights/analysis
  • Strong quantitative background
  • Ability to take ownership of initiatives and work proactively and to accomplish tasks/projects on tight timelines
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced ambiguous environment


Annual salary starting $135,000.
