Key Responsibilities


  • Collaborate with design and project management teams to develop comprehensive preconstruction plans for mechanical projects.
  • Analyze project specifications, blueprints, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates.
  • Manage the design and engineering processes for plumbing, piping, and HVAC systems in various settings, including laboratories and other heavy-focus mechanical piping environments.
  • Provide technical support and expertise during preconstruction to ensure projects meet all necessary codes, standards, and performance specifications.
  • Coordinate with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to align project goals and expectations.
  • Ensure the stability and efficiency of preconstruction processes through diligent planning and problem-solving.


Qualifications


  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • EIT or PE licenses are preferred but not required.
  • Proven experience in design and engineering, project management, or preconstruction roles within the mechanical contracting industry.
  • Strong understanding of significant project dynamics related to plumbing, piping, and HVAC systems.
  • Local candidates with a stable work history are preferred.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills to effectively collaborate with various project stakeholders.
