Position Description

We are seeking an experienced Program Manager with a strong background in healthcare payer solutions and Medicaid/Medicare to lead the strategic executive alignment and communication of our healthcare client's program roadmap. This role involves extensive coordination with executive stakeholders to ensure seamless implementation of healthcare strategies within a payer context. You will manage and deliver complex projects that have a direct impact, working under the Program Director to oversee day-to-day supports of the program.


Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with executive stakeholders to understand their vision and ensure the program roadmap reflects strategic healthcare payer objectives.

Effectively communicate with all levels of the organization to ensure clarity and visibility of program initiatives.

Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of program milestones, ensuring that program protocols are followed by all project managers.

Act as an escalation point for business project managers, providing support for higher-level communications to leadership and program-level meetings.

Lead cross-work thread deliverables to ensure coordination, while delegating work thread-specific activities to the relevant project manager and work thread.

Address program-level scope, issues, risks, and quality, implementing corrective measures as needed.

Facilitate negotiations and set realistic timelines with stakeholders, ensuring commitments are achievable and aligned with strategic goals.

Provide transparent and regular updates on program status, including health, risks, and milestones to clients and stakeholders.

Ensure all program deliverables meet the high-quality standards required in the healthcare industry and are delivered on schedule.

Qualifications:

Executive Stakeholder Communication: 10+ years of experience

Program Management: 15+ years in combined project & program management with a proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while prioritizing based on organizational goals.

Project Management Foundations: Strong foundations in planning, scope, issue and risk, and quality management.

Nice to Have:

Healthcare Experience: Experience leading projects in the healthcare payer sector.

Problem-Solving Skills: Decisive and efficient problem-solving skills with a track record of timely project delivery.

Project Management Methodologies: Experience with both Waterfall and Agile project management methodologies.

Communication Tools: Expertise in Microsoft PowerPoint to effectively communicate program strategies and statuses.
