Job Description:


We are seeking a Parks Retail Strategy Manager for a 4-month assignment.


This is a hybrid role w/ 4 days per week onsite in ORLANDO, FL (Friday is remote)


The Parks Retail Strategy Manager drives cross-category product strategies, site commercial and marketing relationships across multiple business units- including flagship destinations, cruise lines, luxury experiences, and international locations.


The Parks Retail Strategy Manager reports to the Senior Manager, Merchandise Strategy.


Responsibilities:

  • Develop cross-category product strategies to support flagship destinations, luxury experiences, new initiatives, expansions/new build locations, special events, and other domestic business units, including cruise lines and resorts, as assigned.
  • Have a detailed knowledge of the cross-category product needs, guest and demography data and market trends to influence strategies.
  • In partnership with Planning and Location Strategy, coordinate the quarterly kick-off sessions and hindsight sessions with the Product Development teams.
  • Lead the relationships with Site-specific Commercial and Marketing teams to understand and capitalize on Site initiatives and to drive commercialization of merchandise-specific initiatives.
  • Lead relationships with Corporate Alliances and Operating Participants to improve the Park's value.
  • Work with the Franchise team to develop strategies to support key franchise and alliance initiatives.
  • Lead ongoing analysis of results, in season performance and trends to improve business results and support future decisions.
  • Develop strong relationships with cross-functional partners and bring partners along for the journey so communication and function is seamless in the product development lifecycle.


Basic Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of dynamic experience in a Merchandise or an analytical role.
  • Experience in Merchandising/Planning for vertical specialty retail environment.
  • Experience working with multiple partners in commercial, marketing, planning, buying, and visual merchandising.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage revenue creation while maintaining brand integrity.
  • Strategic problem solver with the ability to drive execution against a financial plan.
  • Demonstrated social skills and ability to influence a diverse audience including experience working with external partners and business owners.
  • The ability to build & cultivate partnerships across functions & departments within Clients organization.
  • Well-developed Communication & Analytical skills.
  • Proven track record to think creatively and disruptively to bring and infuse new insights to the business.


Required Education:

  • Bachelors Degree - Merchandising, Business, Finance, Retail Management or related


"The target hiring compensation range for this role is $45.00 to $52.00 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location."
