We are currently seeking an Automation Engineer with injection molding experience. Qualified candidates must have design, build, and debug/launch experience, essentially cradle to grave background, including controller and programming.


Job Duties:

  • Provide technical expertise for mechanical, electrical and programmable logic controllers.
  • Initiate, plan, execute, monitor, and control automation project.
  • Evaluate, trouble shoot, analyze and determine process improvements.
  • Coordinate and communicate between various areas; train staff as needed.
  • Prepare a plan to re-design and present such design ideas and changes for approval along with estimated costs of such projects.
  • Work with Engineering on all new tool designs in order to prepare “new mold” EOAT (End of Arm Tooling) for part removal and associated tooling.
  • Responsible for automation projects including layout of Conveyor / Camera / Sorting / Inspection and Part Separation / Quality improvement automation.
  • Prepare Bill of Materials of products / parts / components required to complete automation design.


Previous plastics manufacturing experience and a strong mechanical aptitude are required. These positions involve fast-paced, detailed work, so we are looking for highly responsible individuals.
