This will report into our US Captive Sales & Advisory Zone Leader.We will count on you to:Support and participate in initial discussions with clients on the utilization of captivesUnderstand objectives for meeting and support the preparation of presentation materialsDiscuss client financial and operational objectives with senior consultantIdentify key client data points to lead to identification of captive utilization opportunities and key considerationsReview objectives of feasibility stage with senior consultant post discussion with clientDraft project engagement documentationDevelop decision tree on key captive utilization opportunities, value, and considerationsDraft tailored scope of engagementDevelop an action plan to determine timing, key steps, and responsible partiesEstimate hours for the project and fee with project leaderData Collection ManagementCraft data request based on specific opportunitiesDetermine what can be provided by Marsh versus what is needed from clientOversee the timely collection of dataConstruct Framework for Feasibility Studies (Applying Standard Template)Determine needed modifications and review basis for change with senior project leadDetermine scenarios for modeling and review with the senior lead to confirmRun models and check for accuracy prior to peer reviewDraft executive summary highlighting key points per template requirementsSet target dates for delivery of first and final draft for peer review (must be 5 business days prior to delivery to client)Manage the Preparation of Captive Formation Regulatory Application DocumentsOversee the collection of the necessary data/ reports from service providers and clientsPrepare the draft regulatory applications for peer reviewCoordinate the meeting with captive regulators and oversee the application submissionProvide the incoming captive management team with all necessary background on the captive structure and client objectivesPresent Final Study to ClientReview key points with senior lead for presentation to client of final reportCompile and deliver final hard copy reports/ appendices to client prior to meetingAbility to Draft Response to RFPs for Captive Consulting and Management ServicesDetermine subject matter to address per specific questions in RFPDraft response by deadline compiling appropriate sections and amend as neededWhat you need to have:A Bachelor's Degree in risk management, finance or accountingA minimum of 6 years of work experience in the insurance industry, preferably captive consulting or management, brokerage or underwritingWhat makes you stand out:Strong analytic skills and inquisitiveBasic familiarity with navigating financial statementsSolid written and communication skillsTeam orientedStrong time management skillsProficient in Excel, Word and PowerPointWhy join our team:We help you be your best through professional development opportunities, interesting work, and supportive leaders.We foster a vibrant and inclusive culture where you can work with talented colleagues to create new solutions and have impact for colleagues, clients, and communities.Our scale enables us to provide a range of career opportunities, as well as benefits and rewards to enhance your well-being.Marsh McLennan is committed to embracing a diverse, inclusive and flexible work environment.
