Food Inspection QC Officer

Key Responsibilities


Hold and Release Management:

  • Review daily microbiological and chemical results.
  • Ensure all products are analyzed and records are accurate, including compliance checks and PCQI sign-offs.
  • Trace Extrusion Lots/Packaging Batches as needed.
  • Verify and reconcile daily holds, including third-party records.
  • Communicate with external warehouses and supply chain teams about product holds.
  • Report concerns to the Q&FS Manager immediately.
  • Participate in site audit programs.

Expected Results:

  • Timely and accurate release of finished products based on analysis results.
  • Promptly block products when needed.


Requirements


Education: Degree in biology, chemistry, food science, or related field.

Experience: 3 years in quality and food safety in a food manufacturing environment.

Skills:

  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Team player with excellent organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of food safety and nutrition is a plus.
