Water & Wastewater Staff Engineer II

At Herbert Rowland & Grubic, we're seeking a talented Water & Wastewater Staff Engineer II to join our team in Lewisburg, PA. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for designing and developing water and wastewater systems, conducting field inspections, and collaborating with clients to deliver high-quality solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop water and wastewater systems, including treatment, storage, and distribution systems
  • Conduct field inspections and investigations to identify and resolve issues
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and develop solutions
  • Prepare permit applications and reports related to water and wastewater facilities
  • Attend meetings and conferences to stay up-to-date on industry developments
Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering
  • E.I.T. certification
  • 2-4 years' experience working on projects related to water and wastewater systems
  • Previous experience with a consulting engineering firm
  • Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and AutoCAD Civil 3D
  • Familiarity with computer modeling of water systems, PA DEP regulations, and Construction Administration process
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to travel to job sites, meetings, and regional offices as needed
