System-level Director of Revenue Cycle opportunity with a top healthcare group in Fairfield county, CT, right over the border from NY

SUMMARY:

Reporting to the Executive Director, he Director of Revenue Cycle will be responsible for daily operations of all revenue cycle revenue cycle activities of the health system (outpatient & inpatient) and is responsible for implementing revenue cycle initiatives while overseeing operations and financial performance of the team's activities.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Oversee & plan and organization of the daily operational duties including the coordination of work distribution for designated shift activities.

* Develop policies and procedures regarding all front-end revenue cycle processes.

* Ensure compliance with state and federal laws and standards related to privacy and security.

REQUIREMENTS:

* Bachelor's required, Master's highly preferred

* 10+ years of related experience including 5+ in a supervisory capacity

Current knowledge of HIPAA, Joint Commission standards, Legal, Compliance, and Vendor management.

* Knowledge of HIPAA, Joint Commission regulations, Legal, Vendor Management, compliance, cash controls, computer technology, EHR/EMR systems, and other relevant third-party technology tools.

* Knowledge of healthcare regulatory requirements including EMTALA, 501R, Price Transparency, Medicare (MSPQ), Medicaid and other government payers.
