Job Description:

  • Rescue 21, the Coast Guard's advanced command, control and direction-finding communication system, was created to better locate mariners in distress and save lives and property at sea and on navigable rivers.
  • By harnessing state-of-the-market technology, Rescue 21 enables the Coast Guard to execute its search and rescue missions with greater agility and efficiency.
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field, plus a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience; or master's degree plus a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.

Role And Position Objectives:

  • As a Project Lead and Release Manager on the Rescue 21 program, you will work closely with a diverse engineering team, the program management office, as well as our call center and field support representatives to ensure timely and cost-effective completion of all projects and tasks.
  • Your main responsibilities will include proposing, planning, executing, and delivering project deliverables.
  • This entails defining objectives, creating schedules, and collaborating among stakeholders and ensuring projects stay within scope, budget, and schedule.
  • Additionally, you will monitor project progress, mitigate risks, and uphold quality standards throughout the project lifecycle.
