The Sales Operations Technologist plays a vital role in ensuring the seamless operation and customization of our Dynamics 365 Sales platform. This position focuses on enhancing the user experience and supporting business processes through effective front-end management and collaboration with stakeholders. Additionally, this role includes maintaining our SharePoint infrastructure and championing its use across the organization. As the Technical Application Support expert, you will also promote the adoption of Microsoft applications and other tools managed by the Sales Operations & Tech team.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:


Dynamics 365 Sales Platform Support:

In this capacity, you will oversee the front-end operations of the Dynamics 365 Sales platform, ensuring it meets the evolving needs of various departments and aligns with our business processes. You will work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements for system enhancements and prioritize changes in collaboration with the Manager of Sales Operations.


Your efforts will ensure that the platform is user-friendly, efficient, and effective in supporting our sales operations.

  • Administer the front-end operations of the Dynamics 365 Sales platform.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and implement necessary changes.
  • Customize the platform to enhance user experience and support business processes.
  • Provide training and support to team members, ensuring they can use the platform effectively.
  • Maintain system documentation and data dictionary to support the internal development team and facilitate data analysis.


SharePoint Infrastructure Management:

As the SharePoint champion, you will be on point for day-to-day management of changes, promote its use, and drive engagement across the organization. Your advanced knowledge of SharePoint will ensure its effective utilization and integration with other systems.

  • Manage and maintain the SharePoint infrastructure, ensuring its smooth operation and reliability.
  • Assist users with changes and customizations, promoting the adoption of SharePoint.
  • Conduct training sessions and create user guides to empower employees.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance SharePoint functionality and integration.
  • Monitor SharePoint usage and performance, addressing any issues promptly.
  • Support users understanding and adoption of OneDrive and best file management practices.


Technical Application Support and Adoption:

As the Technical Application Support expert, the Sales Operations Technologist assists users and promotes the effective adoption of Microsoft 365 E3 tools and other organizational applications managed by the Sales Operations & Tech team. This role is key to ensuring the smooth operation of various tools and enhancing the overall efficiency of the organization.


  • Provide technical support and troubleshoot issues related to Microsoft 365 E3 tools, ClickUp, Snagit, Grammarly, and other technical platforms.
  • Conduct training sessions, create user guides, and develop resources to empower employees to effectively utilize organizational applications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance the functionality and integration of these tools within the organization.
  • Actively participate in testing and evaluating new tools, features, and upgrades to optimize their functionality within the organization.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to enhance user experience and streamline processes through technology solutions.
  • Assist departments in researching and vetting new tools, and support the implementation of these tools within our environment.
  • Produce internal reports and maintain database structures using T-SQL.
  • Support custom tool development within the Power Platform.
  • Contribute to the successful implementation of other technical systems, including system configuration, management, review of external IT products, staff education, and deployment planning.


Miscellaneous Duties:

Beyond the primary responsibilities, you will assist with data management, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and stay updated with industry trends. Your contributions will support the overall success of the Business Development, Account Executive, Sales Operations, Marketing, and Analytics teams.


  • Assist in data management and cleansing activities.
  • Identify bottlenecks or areas of improvement in workflows.
  • Evaluate and recommend tools, software, or systems to improve sales operations.
  • Stay informed about emerging sales technologies and trends.
  • Support in building and maintaining custom tools in the Power Platform.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support the overall success of the Sales Operations


Qualification Requirements:


  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience in Sales Operations systems and Marketing Automation platforms.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze sales data and campaign performance.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Problem-solving abilities and a keen attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
  • Proficiency in managing SharePoint infrastructure.
  • In-depth knowledge of Dynamics 365 Sales platform customization.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and survey tools.
  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, SQL, API integrations, and XRM query language.
  • Advanced T-SQL skills for database management and reporting.
