Duties and Responsibilities


  • Lead engineering team through every phase of product lifecycle including design, development, manufacturing, and support
  • Create project schedules, budgets, and resource allocations
  • Oversee technical staff, including recruitment, training, and employee development
  • Develop new and existing customer relationships
  • Maintain and enforce engineering standards and processes
  • Review and approve engineering proposals, designs, and documentation
  • Stay current with and implement the latest engineering trends, techniques, and methods
  • Collaborate with executive team to develop and drive product roadmap, and communicate the goals of the company to the engineering staff
  • Backfill technical responsibilities as needed


Requirements


  • Advanced understanding of engineering principles/design and procedures
  • Strong knowledge of circuit, software, and FPGA design, and electronic test equipment
  • Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills
  • Experience interfacing with manufacturing, customers, and company leadership
  • Experience leading technical teams on concurrent engineering projects
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering required, an Electrical Engineering degree is preferred
  • 15+ years of work experience
  • 5+ years of engineering leadership experience
  • Small business experience preferred
  • US Citizenship


This offer is for full-time, non-remote, salaried employment. Salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience. The pay package includes health and dental benefits, vacation, performance-based bonus opportunities, and retirement plan. Educational and relocation reimbursements are also available.
