About the Position:

  • Create and execute social media strategies for the association as well as trade shows/events.
  • Develop actionable plan for growth and retention of followers on social media platforms.
  • Manage LinkedIn postings for various departments; Manage the promotion of the association's podcast.
  • Coordinate the monthly social media calendar, monthly trade show reports, and other quarterly reports.
  • Set KPIs and measure each campaign's performance against them.
  • Provide other marketing and B2B support to the department as necessary.

About You:

  • A bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related is required.
  • 3+ years of relevant B2B social media experience are required.
  • Experience working for a trade association is preferred.
  • Familiarity with web design is highly preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Adobe Suite, and multi-social posting programs.
  • Ability to travel domestically occasionally is required.

Position Information:

  • $33/hr-$38/hr, while temporary.
  • $70K-$80K, when permanent.
  • Hybrid onsite for 3 days/week.
  • Office located in Herndon, VA.
  • Travel twice a year is required.
