Type: Contract to Hire

Location: Franklin, WI

Hours: Monday – Thursday, 4:00 PM to 2:30 AM (with overtime 2 or 3 Fridays a month)

Pay Rate: $27.00 hourly + 20% differential


Position Summary:

As a Test Technician, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and functionality of our client’s products. Your responsibilities will include assembly, testing, and troubleshooting tasks in a production environment, where precision and attention to detail are paramount.


Responsibilities:

  • Execute assembly and testing procedures for electrical power products.
  • Assemble and thoroughly test products and provide feedback to the engineering team.
  • Conduct testing at timing stations and run switches through the operations station.
  • Perform mechanical work, including disconnect assemblies.


Qualifications:

  • High voltage electrical experience, or educational training & understanding of electrical principles
  • Familiarity with 420 volts / 3-phase systems.
  • Proficiency in reading and working from complex blueprints, wiring drawings, schematic diagrams, and specifications.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills for both mechanical and electrical issues.


Desired Qualifications:

  • Individuals with electrical high-voltage testing preferred
  • Recent graduates from Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, and other related Electrical programs are encouraged to apply.
  • Former military personnel with relevant technical experience are welcomed to apply.
