Job Title: Ophthalmic Technician

Job Summary:

Tennessee Retina is seeking a skilled Ophthalmic Technician to join our team. As an Ophthalmic Technician, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality eye care to our patients. Your responsibilities will include performing patient workups, obtaining medical histories, and conducting specialized diagnostic testing.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform patient workups, including obtaining medical histories and conducting specialized diagnostic testing
  • Prepare examination and treatment rooms, maintaining a clean and organized environment
  • Assist physicians with patient care, including taking medical histories and performing diagnostic tests
  • Develop and maintain accurate and detailed patient records
  • Communicate effectively with patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals

Requirements:

  • 1-2 years of experience working in a medical setting
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office and ability to learn new software
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Basic understanding of eye anatomy, medical terminology, and ocular pathology
