Product Support Engineer

Robert Half is searching for a Product Support Analyst with experience in Deltek.


You will be responsible for supporting Work with Finance Leadership, organizational partners, and stakeholders to assess and define system requirements to meet core functionality and key business objectives with the Deltek application.


This position is a contract to hire opportunity that is hybrid preferred (2-3 days onsite) but 100% remote is possible. Apply Now


Duties:

  • Lead the administration and ongoing support of Finance applications and tools, including ERP (Deltek), budgeting tools, Power BI reports, etc.
  • Manage all elements of planning, testing and implementation of system changes, version upgrades, customizations, workflows, and process improvements in accordance with the change management process.
  • Design and implement workflows to streamline business processes.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any ERP related hardware, software, user access, or other problems
  • Identify opportunities for automation to improve operational efficiency
  • Participate in projects to gather user requirements, design, configure, test, and implement ERP systems and applications
  • Provide escalation support and troubleshooting for key stakeholders and critical business processes
  • Develop FAQs, knowledge base and instructional content
  • Create and maintain custom reports and dashboard to provide insights into business performance and train users on report generation and interpretation
  • Act as the ERP subject-matter expert for system-integration efforts
  • Participate in the execution of operational controls for Finance systems (e.g., business continuity, incident, problem, and change management), which may include occasional after-hours operations and support
  • Participate in the development of operational documentation (e.g., infrastructure diagrams, standards, policies, procedures, training)
  • Participate in the development and enforcement of information management policy and procedures related to the ERP, including data classification, taxonomy, retention, integration, and security
  • Engage with IS to manage and enhance the use of RPA (Robotic Process Automation) enabled tools


Required Skills:

  • 7+ years in Business Systems/Application support.
  • SME in providing support to the Deltek Application: permissions, data extraction, and troubleshooting.
  • Skilled in business analysis, requirements gathering, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Nice to have: SQL reporting and knowledge in providing training to non-technical end-users.
