ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


  1. Work with the production team to reduce the quality issues and defects, and to meet customer satisfaction by improving the quality of the products
  2. Work with the engineering, supplier, and management teams to ensure the shop floor quality is maintained and improving continuously towards ZERO DEFECTS goal.
  3. Create and maintain the Company's Quality Standards; Design, develop, implement, and maintain the quality-related documentation, such as quality procedures, Corrective Action Prevention Action (CAPA) reports, inspection procedures and checklists, etc…
  4. Update the Quality Management System (QMS) with incidents, fixes, and improvements
  5. Conduct internal quality audits based on ISO 9001:2015 requirements and work on the directions to maintain and comply with the ISO certification
  6. Perform point-to-point tests on the industrial panels and record the quality issues on the shop floor.
  7. Analyze the root causes for in-house quality and commissioned products’ issues and implement corrective actions for processes
  8. Use lean manufacturing tools and Statistical Process Control (SPC) to make action plans and to promote the lean culture on the shopfloor
  9. Determine quality metrics, prepare, and present the weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reports to the management.
  10. Make action plans to eliminate the defects, improve the quality and of the products, and the safety of the customers.
  11. Lead continual improvement projects to enhance the products and the environment through training sessions and work instructions
  12. Work with the customers in yearly audits and provide the required documents and objective evidence
  13. Inspect to ensure that products and processes comply with the customer requirements and expectations using established engineering techniques
  14. Compile training material and conduct training sessions on quality control activities
  15. Responsible to ensure the tools are calibrated as per the ISO/IEC 17025 standards at all times. Create a procedure to send the tools for calibration before the expiration date.


EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or other engineering discipline with minimum of three (3) years of experience and/or training in a Quality Assurance Department in a manufacturing environment or equivalent combination of education and experience.
