SUMMARY

Assists the Payroll Manager and the EVP of HR in day-to-day operations, in Talent Acquisition & Management, Employee Relations & Communications, in Benefits Administration, and with implementing HR Strategy initiatives and programs that effectively support the values and corporate objectives. Supports in developing Strategic & Succession Planning objectives to help build an organization that delivers significant growth.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Strong knowledge and understanding of company policies, procedures and practices. Exemplify the desired culture and philosophies of the organization and act as a role model for others, embodying the Company’s core values.
  • Maintain Applicant Tracking System (ATS) & Benefits using company’s HRIS system.
  • Source and screen candidates for corporate positions and coordinate with Hiring Managers to source candidates for department positions.
  • Develop recruiting strategies and interact with outside recruiters.
  • Identify talent within the organization to help promote from within.
  • Facilitate onboarding for all new hires through Hire Right and Paycom and assist in the coordination and implementation of New Hire orientation.
  • Develop, support, and communicate policies and procedures.
  • Coordinate account set up for new hires in Expense Anywhere.
  • Work closely with Payroll Manager to assist with Compensation & benefits administration.
  • Assists in Benefit enrollments for New Hires and current employees.
  • Maintain list of active job descriptions and assign to employees in Paycom.
  • Assist Accounting Department by managing the approval process in Expense Anywhere.
  • May assist in organizing company functions including Wellness events.
  • Anticipate problems whenever possible, and develop, recommend, and initiate appropriate steps with HR Director for resolution.
  • May assume responsibility for other projects in the HR Department as necessitated by business demands.
  • Conduct Exit Interviews upon employee’s separation from the company.
  • Enter employees’ information and benefits into COBRA portal, distribute benefit conversion paperwork for terminated employees.
  • Support the development and implementation of HR initiatives and systems.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree. PHR and or SHRM-CP certification a plus
  • 5-7 years’ of HR Generalist experience.
  • Experience with talent acquisition and recruiting processes.
  • Strong employee relations skills.
  • Ability to exercise considerable judgment in building relationships across all organizational levels and functions. Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Strong verbal and written skills.
  • Ability to assist in the development of creative and innovative programs and policies based on business requirements.
