Role Description:

This is a full-time on-site role as a Leasing Specialist at BK Management in Lafayette, IN. The Leasing Specialist will be responsible for day-to-day tasks related to leases, lease administration, property management, and resident retention.


Starting Pay: $45,000/yr.

Job Duties:

  • Show units to prospective tenants and process move-in paperwork for qualified applicants.
  • Encourage prospective tenants to lease from us by positioning our community in a favorable light and offering the best possible customer service.
  • Answer incoming telephone calls and emails.
  • Develop and lead market research surveys for the community.
  • Develop and lead marketing strategies to increase occupancy at the community including but not limited to social media generation, attending marketing events, etc.
  • Develop relationships with property owners to secure additional properties to manage.
  • Attend recurring weekly meetings to provide insight into the effectiveness of current leasing and marketing strategies.
  • Cold calling and lead generating.
  • Reach sales goals.
  • Maintain a strong closing ratio.
  • Complete all required paperwork and administrative duties.
  • Additional duties as assigned by management.

 

Qualifications:

  • Strong knowledge of leases, market research, and lease administration.
  • Experience in property management and resident retention.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work and stay on task without continuous direct supervision.
  • Ability to make judgement calls with the best interest of the asset in mind.
  • High attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
  • Previous leasing/management experience a plus.
  • Proficiency in property management software a plus.
