Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead safety and environmental compliance initiatives.
  • Coach and train the organization to achieve a zero-incident culture.
  • Conduct and assist in incident investigations and implement corrective actions.
  • Perform hazard assessments and implement risk reduction controls.
  • Partner with plant leadership to implement safety initiatives.
  • Conduct safety inspections, meetings, and training programs.
  • Maintain compliance with OSHA, EPA, and local environmental standards.

Required Skills:

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage tasks efficiently.
  • Proficiency with MS Office and statistical software.
  • Excellent organizational and project management abilities.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Occupational Safety and Health or related field.
  • Safety certifications (CSP or CSM preferred).
  • Minimum of 5 years of safety leadership experience in manufacturing.
  • In-depth understanding of OSHA, EPA, and local environmental standards.
  • Ability to travel 50% for audits and training.
