The Opportunity

Flock Safety is looking to add an enthusiastic and agile Events and Spaces Specialist to our growing People Team. This role will report to our Director of Employee Experience and will support both our main office location and warehouse in West Midtown. While Flock is a remote first company, the Spaces Manager is required to work on-site at our West Midtown main office Monday through Friday.

The Skillset
  • Have previous experience in office administration, retail, hospitality or customer service 

  • Possess a hospitality mindset and feel fulfilled when helping and supporting others 

  • Are biased toward operational excellence with a strong attention to detail

  • Love putting chaos to order, both IRL and digitally

  • Have basic proficiency with Google Suite (Docs, Sheets) Navan and Coupa are a plus 

  • Facilities management experience is a plus

  • Are excited about working on a fast-paced, constantly evolving product 

  • Are open to taking on additional responsibilities where needed

90 Days at Flock

We are a results-oriented culture and believe job descriptions are a thing of the past. We prescribe to 90 day plans and believe that good days, lead to good weeks, which lead to good months. This serves as a preview of the 90 day plan you will receive if you were to be hired as a Office Manager Flock Safety. 

The First 30 Days

  • Built relationships with all office related vendors and serve as the main point of contact for all day to day needs

  • Assist with all Atlanta events

  • Know how to handle the large amount of packages and mail we receive at the Flock Office

  • Understand how to use Coupa to request credit cards and pay invoices

The First 60 Days 

  • Become a familiar face at HQ and ask for feedback on what could improve the office experience for them

  • Plan, host, and execute at least one office event and one customer/team event in the Atlanta Office

90 Days & Beyond 

  • Developed a proposal for “re-purposing” an office space. This includes a moving plan for equipment to new location, disposal of hazardous materials, and creating a plan for meeting spaces.

  • As a fresh set of eyes, we want your feedback on our current events process. What could we do differently? What have you seen work at other companies? After working a few events at Flock, how can we iterate to make the process better?

  • Increase engagement in the Atlanta Office by increasing the average number of employees in office per day by 50%.

  • Research events/groups & discuss with leadership to crowdsource events that we could host to increase office traffic (events that would create belonging for current employees) and increase candidates (partnering with recruiting).

The Interview Process 

We want our interview process to be a true reflection of our culture: transparent and collaborative. Throughout the interview process, your recruiter will guide you through the next steps and ensure you feel prepared every step of the way. 

  1. Our First Chat: During this first conversation, you’ll meet with a recruiter to chat through your background, what you could bring to Flock, what you are looking for in your next role, and who we are. 

  2. The Hiring Manager Interview: You will meet with your potential future boss to really dive into the role, the team, expectations, and what success means at Flock. This is your chance to really nerd out with someone in your field. 

  3. The Panel: Learn more about the team, responsibilities, and workflows. You should be prepared to speak about past projects, how you collaborate and communicate with others, and how you live our values. Depending on the team and role you are interviewing for, you may meet with several teammates as well as cross-functional partners. 

  4. The Executive Review: A chance to meet an executive and view Flock from a different lens. Be prepared to ask well-thought-out questions about the company, culture, and more.
