As a Safety Supervisor, your primary responsibility will be to uphold the safety standards and culture of CROSS SAFETY MANAGEMENT LLC while overseeing crew activities on client sites. The ideal candidate will possess a solid understanding of both lagging and leading safety metrics and will advocate for a safety-first philosophy to meet established objectives. A thorough knowledge of site-specific safety regulations, safety equipment, training needs, and tracking mechanisms is essential.


Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

  • Implement and enforce Site Safety Programs for designated projects, identifying and mitigating hazardous conditions that could result in injuries or property damage.
  • Utilize job-specific safety standards and best practices to maintain a safe working environment for all personnel.
  • Conduct regular job site inspections, documenting findings and completing necessary reports.
  • Investigate and document all incidents, accidents, and near misses on-site.
  • Recommend and execute corrective actions in line with company policies and legal requirements.
  • Facilitate weekly 'Toolbox Safety Meetings' and maintain records of discussions and attendance.
  • Provide Safety Orientation for new hires.
  • Advise project teams on site-specific safety protocols.
  • Assess the need for safety training and provide recommendations.
  • Enjoy weekly pay, with per diem and mobilization compensation available.
  • Commit to a minimum duration of 12 weeks for the project.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Extensive knowledge of construction industry practices and OSHA regulations.
  • OSHA 30 Construction Industry Certification, OSHA 500, or equivalent.
  • 5-10 years of safety experience within the construction sector.
  • Bilingual proficiency in Spanish.
  • Basic proficiency in MS Office and Windows operating systems.
