Role Description

This is a full-time, forty hour per week role as an Assistant Construction Project Manager out of the Branford office. The role would include working with the Project Managers on bid seeking, project estimating, project management including budgets, scheduling, project communication, and project documentation.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management or related field - preferred
  • Desire to work in the construction industry and grow with our company
  • Ability to meet bid and project deadlines
  • Ability to work with other team members collaboratively
  • General computer proficiency and experience with following softwares desired: Microsoft products, including Microsoft Projects, Procore, SAGE Project Management


Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and provide input during weekly meetings with subcontractors, architects, and owner representatives to resolve field conflicts
  • Support project costs and change management process; prepare reports for review with other team members and present at OAC meetings
  • Assist in development of estimates and bid proposals
  • Maintain close relations with subcontractors including early notification of submittals and material delivery schedule expectations
  • Assist the project superintendent and other team members in resolution of critical issues
  • Assist the project team with RFIs
  • Assist with coordination of punch list and work completion as required 


Compensation and Benefit Package:

  • Salary Range Based on Experience - Starting salary $65,000
