Job Responsibilities
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to define project scope, priorities, and timelines
- Use programming as a tool to solve problems, design and code excellent workflow, features, or modules
- Architecting features, leading development, and promoting observability and maintainability standards that lead to an increase in scalability, availability, and reliability over time.
- Effectively provide solutions to both technical and non-technical issues brought up by the team members.
- Own end-to-end product development - understanding the ecosystem of why, where, and whom you are developing for, and be proactive in course correcting towards efficiency each day
- Mentor team members with the latest and greatest in your discoveries during your learning.
- Promote software development best practices and agile engineering that drive well architected٫ testable٫, and efficient coding practices.
- Keep up to date with trends and versions of the technology, and tinker with all the new upgrades into time-tested technologies.
Qualification:
Is Education overrated? Yes. We believe so. But there is no way to locate you otherwise. So we might look for at least a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or similar.
- 6-8 yrs of development experience in Fullstack Development/Backend Development
- Expertise in Backend Technologies like Python/Nodejs/Java or Fullstack in addition to Angular/react
- Experience in any databases, Linux/Unix Commands and Shell Scripting
- Ability to write well-documented, clean Javascript code, Working with third-party dependencies and debugging dependency conflicts
- Understanding of REST APIs, the document request model, and offline storage
- Experience with automated testing suites, like Jest or Mocha is an added advantage
- Good communication skills, Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders
- Good system design and Database architecture skills will be preferred
