Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute project plans, ensuring projects are completed on time and within specifications.
  • Oversee the entire project life cycle, from initiation to deployment, with a focus on scope, resources, and schedules.
  • Establish and maintain effective communication with business sponsors and owners to ensure user satisfaction and obtain necessary approvals.
  • Identify and resolve project issues, communicate potential conflicts to management, and conduct "lessons learned" sessions for continuous improvement.
  • Monitor application use and performance, preparing ad hoc reports, and addressing application issues promptly.
  • Manage requirements gathering and documentation, coordinating work sessions with business partners and IT groups.
  • Provide support and maintenance for applications, ensuring peak performance and user satisfaction.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent IT experience.
  • Minimum of ten years of IS experience with a strong emphasis on project management.
  • Five years of experience specifically in IS project management; PMP Certification preferred.
  • Strong understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
  • Excellent troubleshooting and performance tuning skills.
  • Ability to balance multiple job assignments with strong time management skills.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Familiarity with MS Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access) and MS Project.
