Procurement Analyst

Job Description:


Reporting to the Director of Supply Chain and Logistics, leads in the tactical execution of duties as required in support of operations nationwide, including, but not limited to:


Responsibilities:

• Strategic sourcing – indirect (maintenance, utilities, packaging, MRO)

• Negotiation

• Analyzing contract clauses, stipulations, obligations, and liabilities to identify potential disputes and risks

• Data analysis

• Supplier evaluation

• Supplier management

• Issuance of purchase orders

• Expediting duties

• KPI management

• Requests for quotation (RFQ)

• Investigates problems, identifies root causes, and aids in solution

• Participates in the development of processes and programs for operations

• Invoice dispute and resolution

• Additional support as needed


What are we looking for in the ideal candidate?

• Passion for procurement

• Experience purchasing rolling stock (wheel loaders, forklifts, etc.) a plus

• Experience with equipment leasing a plus

• Self-directed

• Flexible and creative thinking

• Strong written, oral, and analytical skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Power Point, Word, Outlook), Power BI

• ERP experience beneficial (MS Dynamics, Business Central)

• Thorough understanding of basic procurement principals (leverage, relationship, supply & demand)

• Industry experience a plus, but not required

• 5+ years’ procurement management experience (non-leadership responsibility)
