  • Responsibility for assigned supplier and customer programs driving product conformity, process compliance and quality improvements aligned with contractual and regulatory requirements. Overseeing and providing technical guidance to internal and external customers, team members and stakeholders. Direct quality support to dedicated product lines with objective to improve FTY and reduce losses. Interface with customer where required and support all quality and continuous improvement activity. The Quality Engineer will assist in the development and maintenance of systems and processes to ensure fulfillment of internal and external requirements. Drive safety, quality, delivery and cost business initiatives to success.





Roles and Responsibilities

  • Prioritize assigned task aligned to business demands
  • Manage assigned suppliers to ensure hardware conformity and process compliance
  • Interface with customers and support assigned programs
  • Review and approve First Article Inspections
  • Supporting daily quality and operations reporting rhythm through standard business meetings
  • Identify improvement opportunities and drive project closure
  • Complete daily, weekly and monthly reports supporting business needs
  • Define of quality control and inspection plans
  • Provide training on production quality and inspection procedures
  • Ensure products and services perform to quality standards, customer and regulatory requirements
  • Learn to Utilize historical precedents and real-time data with appropriate analytical tools to develop solutions
  • Perform root cause analysis (8D, 6M, 3x5 Whys) of identified issues and identify appropriate corrective and preventive action
  • Participate in cross-functional teams in the investigation and elimination of causes of quality problems and verify effectiveness on corrective actions
  • Interface directly with customers to provide the best customer quality experience
  • Perform audits as required to assure compliance with customer requirements
  • Review and assure compliance with customer drawings, specifications and other technical documents. Initiate action as required to ensure business success (e.g. mitigate risks, problem solve, provide technical guidance, etc.)
  • Lead key elements in all stages of APQP / PPAP activities.

Required Qualifications

  • For roles in USA - Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 4 years of experience in supplier and customer programs driving product conformity ).+ Minimum of 3 years of supplier and customer programs driving product conformity experience
