We're growing fast and building a team of passionate, curious people across the globe.About the Role:We're looking to hire a Majors Sales Director to join the Revenue Team. This person will be responsible for building out our strategic customer base throughout the Northeast region. The ideal person will be a proactive and curious member of our growing Sales team, identifying new business with prospects and growth opportunities for clients. A certain level of foresight and knowledge working with intrinsic sales cycles will take this individual confidently into the future of dbt Labs.What You'll Do:Own the full sales cycle from lead to ongoing utilization for enterprise prospectsOrganize POC implementations of dbt Cloud EnterpriseWin 20 new dbt Cloud Enterprise customers per year (after ramp)Lead and contribute to team projects that develop our sales processWork with product to build and maintain the dbt Cloud enterprise roadmapBecome an expert in SQL, dbt, and enterprise data operationsBe an active member of the dbt open source communityWhat You'll Need:7+ years closing experience in technology sales, with a proven track record of exceeding annual targetsAbility to understand complex technical concepts and develop them into a consultative saleExcellent verbal, written, and in-person communication skills to engage stakeholders at all levels of an analytics organization (individual developer up to CTO)The diligence and organizational skills to work long, intricate sales cycles involving multiple client teamsAbility to operate in an ambiguous and fast-paced work environmentA passion for being an inclusive teammate and involved member of the communityExperience with SQL or willingness to learnWhat Will Make You Stand Out:Prior experience in analytics, ETL, BI, and/or open-sourced softwareKnowledge of or prior experience with dbtRemote Hiring Process:Interview with Talent Acquisition PartnerInterview with the Hiring ManagerTeam Interviews; Sales & Solutions ArchitectsPipeline Generation Activity with Sales LeadershipBenefits:Unlimited vacation time with a culture that actively encourages time off401k plan with 3% guaranteed company contributionComprehensive healthcare coverageGenerous paid parental leaveFlexible stipends for:Health & WellnessHome Office SetupCell Phone & InternetLearning & DevelopmentOffice SpaceCompensationWe offer competitive compensation packages commensurate with experience, including salary, RSUs, and where applicable, performance-based pay.
