Title: Senior Staff Accountant

Location: North Haven, CT (Hybrid)

Compensation: $70,000 to $90,000 + Bonus



Responsibilities:


  • All aspects of general accounting activities that include: general ledger, capital expenditures, financial audits, and financial statement preparation
  • Preparation of month and quarter end close
  • Preparation of analysis and reports for presentation to upper management in a timely manner
  • Oversees and organizes annual physical inventory and cycle counts for all locations within the Division
  • Ensures divisional compliance with company financial policies and procedures, and maintains effective interaction with corporate credit and financial staff



Requirements:

  • Minimum Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 2-10 years of experience in a similar role
  • Knowledge of general accounting principles
  • Strong experience working with Microsoft Office software products
  • Manufacturing/Cost Accounting experience
