Responsibilities of Senior Accountant:

  • Compliance and Firm Policies: Demonstrate a deep understanding of and adherence to the firms policies and procedures.
  • Supervision and Performance Evaluation: Utilize your technical expertise to supervise and evaluate the performance of staff and associate accountants.
  • Client Relationships: Begin developing the skills necessary to build strong client relationships and foster client loyalty.
  • Tax Expertise: Start building expertise in relevant IRS sections and regulations.
  • Client Correspondence: Prepare routine client correspondence for partner approval.
  • Tax Return Supervision: Take responsibility for overseeing tax return preparation engagements.
  • Audit Engagement Leadership: Plan, coordinate, and supervise various phases of routine audit engagements, including preparation, evaluation and drafting of financial statements, reports, and management letter.
  • Budget Management: Monitor time budgets to ensure efficient project management

Preferred Experience of Senior Accountant:

  • Bachelors degree in Accounting
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) Preferred
  • 3 years of experience in public accounting with a strong background in tax, audit, and accounting principles.
  • Proven ability to work independently, make critical decisions, and manage complex engagements.
  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in tax software and accounting software.
  • Dedication to maintaining the highest ethical and professional standards.
