Primary Responsibilities:

  • Act as a liaison between external auditors and internal teams for annual audits and quarterly reviews.
  • Conduct technical accounting research and oversee compliance with accounting standards and internal controls.
  • Review and report on the balance sheet to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Assist with month-end and year-end closing tasks.
  • Participate in various projects as assigned.


Qualifications:

  • Strong understanding of accounting theory, US GAAP, and SOX.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent analytical and organizational skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office programs.
  • Experience with a national accounting firm preferred.


Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance preferred.5+ years of experience required.
  • CPA preferred or in progress.
