Title of Position: Clinical Administrator


Position Summary:

The Clinical RN Administrator will oversee the administrative and clinical functions of a multispecialty physician's group, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and efficient daily operations of the medical clinic. This role involves supervising clinical activities, managing patient relations, personnel administration, and facility operations, as well as leading projects related to the expansion and enhancement of clinical services. The Clinical Administrator will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care, advocate for patient needs, and maintain compliance with healthcare regulations. This position requires a dynamic leader with strong organizational, communication, and project management skills to ensure the clinic operates professionally and profitably.


Responsibilities:

• Supervise all administrative and clinical activities to ensure high standards of patient care.

• Facilitate care of specialty services through staff members (admissions, prior authorization, etc.)

• Develop, implement, and monitor patient care plans in collaboration with physicians and healthcare providers.

• Address patient/family concerns and ensure patient satisfaction with services provided.

• Manage recruitment, training, and performance evaluations of clinical staff.

• Provide leadership, mentorship, and professional development opportunities for staff members.

• Ensure staff adherence to policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

• Oversee the daily operations of the medical clinic, ensuring a safe, efficient, and professional environment.

• Manage budgets, resource allocation, and financial performance to ensure the clinic is profitable.

• Implement and maintain operational policies and procedures.

• Lead projects related to the expansion and improvement of clinical services and facilities.

• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure successful project outcomes.

• Monitor project progress and adjust plans as necessary to meet objectives.

• Foster positive relationships between patients, families, and healthcare providers.

• Ensure effective communication and coordination of care among all stakeholders.

• Advocate for patient needs and ensure they receive appropriate services and support.

• Ensure compliance with all relevant healthcare regulations and standards.

• Conduct regular audits and quality assurance activities to maintain high standards of care.

• Stay informed about current trends and best practices in healthcare administration and clinical management.

• other duties as assigned 


Qualification and Skills:

• Registered Nurse (RN) with a current, active license.

• Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN) preferred.

• Minimum of 2 years of clinical nursing experience, with at least 1 year in a leadership or administrative role.

• Experience in a multispecialty clinic or similar healthcare setting is highly desirable.

• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

• Proven ability to manage budgets, operations, and personnel effectively.

• Excellent organizational and project management abilities.

• Knowledge of healthcare regulations, standards, and best practices.
