The company is seeking a visionary and strategic Chief Information Officer (CIO) to lead our technological initiatives and drive innovation across our organization. As the CIO, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our information technology (IT) infrastructure, systems, and processes, ensuring alignment with our business goals and objectives. You will play a pivotal role in shaping the technological direction of the company and implementing solutions that enhance efficiency, scalability, and customer experience.

Job Location: South Windsor, CT (On-site)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Technology Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive technology strategy aligned with the company's business objectives. Identify opportunities for innovation and leverage technology to drive competitive advantage.
  • IT Operations: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the IT department, including infrastructure management, network security, systems administration, and helpdesk support. Ensure the reliability, performance, and security of all IT systems and services.
  • Digital Transformation: Lead digital transformation initiatives to modernize our technology stack and enhance digital capabilities. Evaluate emerging technologies and trends, and recommend solutions that enable the company to stay ahead in a rapidly evolving marketplace.
  • Data Management: Establish data governance policies and procedures to ensure the integrity, security, and privacy of our data assets. Drive initiatives to harness data analytics for strategic decision-making and operational efficiency improvements.
  • E-commerce Platforms: Oversee the development, maintenance, and optimization of the company's e-commerce platforms, including ticketing systems, website, and mobile applications. Ensure a seamless and user-friendly experience for our customers.
  • IT Budgeting and Resource Management: Develop and manage the IT budget, allocating resources effectively to support strategic priorities. Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the IT team.
  • Vendor Management: Manage relationships with external vendors, service providers, and technology partners. Evaluate vendor performance, negotiate contracts, and ensure compliance with service level agreements (SLAs) and regulatory requirements.
  • Cybersecurity and Compliance: Implement robust cybersecurity measures to protect the company's digital assets and mitigate cybersecurity risks. Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, such as PCI DSS, GDPR, and CCPA.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate closely with senior leadership, department heads, and cross-functional teams to understand their technology needs and priorities. Serve as a trusted advisor, providing strategic guidance on IT-related matters.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Proven experience in a senior leadership role within IT, with a track record of driving technology strategy and innovation.
  • Strong understanding of e-commerce platforms, ticketing systems, and digital marketing technologies.
  • Expertise in IT infrastructure, cloud computing, cybersecurity, and data management practices.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and inspire teams.
  • Strategic thinker with a customer-centric mindset and a passion for leveraging technology to drive business growth.
