Summary

The Sr IT Manager is expected to provide exceptional customer service and ensure the smooth and secure functioning of Brembo North America locations IT systems and services.

As IT Manager he or she oversees the planning, implementation, maintenance, and improvement of the IT infrastructure, operations, and Cybersecurity areas for Brembo North America.

As part of the Transformation leadership team, he or she works closely with global functions to support definition, and deployment of global standards in the region.

As leader for IT infrastructure and operations he or she manages the IT staff, budget, and vendors, and ensures compliance with IT policies and standards.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive IT KPIs and goals that align with the organization's business objectives.
  • Work with global teams to define and support global standards on all areas of technology
  • Oversee the management of IT infrastructure (data centers, networks, servers, storage, cloud, and business continuity) ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and scalability.
  • Manage the IT operations, including IT service desk, IT support, IT monitoring, IT security, and IT performance.
  • Establish periodic KPIs for key activities to ensure IT operations and infrastructure teams deliver efficient and effective technology solutions and support services.
  • Manage the cybersecurity, including risk assessment, threat detection, incident response, and security awareness
  • Establish and enforce cybersecurity policies and protocols to protect the organization against cyber-attacks and data breaches.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate IT services with business processes.
  • Manage IT budgets, assets, and resource allocations to maximize return on investment and meet company financial targets.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to IT staff, fostering a culture of excellence and professional growth.
  • Stay abreast of emerging technologies, cloud, AI, and cybersecurity trends to drive innovation and continuous improvement.


Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in IT Management role in a manufacturing company, preferably in the automotive sector.
  • Working knowledge and skills in IT infrastructure, IT operations, and cybersecurity.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) with excellent communication skills
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, and ability to work with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and ability to handle complex and dynamic situations.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills, and ability to deliver results on time and within budget.
  • Certifications in ITIL, CISSP, CISM, or other relevant IT domains are preferred.
  • Considerable experience in implementing and maintaining ITSM ticketing systems
  • Previous experience in Service Delivery management, ideally in System Integration or Service Provider contexts, but not essential
  • Strong technical knowledge with: Microsoft technologies (Windows OS, servers and clients), SCCM, Active Directory, Group Policy. Dell servers, desktops and Laptop hardware. VMWare, Netapp, Cisco/Dell networking equipment, MPLS and SDWAN technologies.
  • Technical knowledge of diverse cybersecurity technologies and procedures to manage risk assessment, threat detection, incident response
  • Know-how of Microsoft’s cloud platforms: Azure, Office 365, and Power Platform
  • Must have previous experience in the management of complex services / projects and international scope.
  • Solution oriented with a high sense of quality, attention to detail, accuracy, efficiency, and meeting tight deadlines.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks within tight deadlines and prioritize effectively, while delivering high quality work.
  • Willingness and availability to travel, and perform other duties as needed.
