MAU is hiring a Plant Manager for Vibrantz Technologies in King of Prussia, PA. As a Plant Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the overall operations at our facility. You will demonstrate the ability to establish a highly adaptable and flexible manufacturing operation, ensure strict adherence to safety protocols, and foster a culture of safety awareness in the plant. Required Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 10+ years of chemicals or materials industry experience in a manufacturing leadership position within a plant
  • P&L responsibility experience
  • Strong experience driving continuous improvement in manufacturing plants and being a transformational change agent
  • Experience in significant manufacturing improvements, particularly in alignment with broader growth initiatives


General Requirements:

  • Demonstrated success in developing and executing manufacturing strategies and optimizing operations to achieve cost reductions and productivity gains while operating in a demanding customer environment
  • Knowledge of computers, inventory systems, quality systems, OSHA and EPA requirements, and ERP
  • Demonstrated ability to establish a highly adaptable and flexible manufacturing operation


Preferred Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, or a related field
  • Lean Six Sigma Certification
  • Experience in sites that are ISO 9000/NSF certified


Essential Functions:

  • Conduct regular inspections to identify potential hazards and address them proactively
  • Conduct performance evaluations to maximize your team's effectiveness (SMART goals, good communication, reviews, training, and development)
  • Link established processes and leadership execution in the areas of Safety, Health, and Environmental with the company's proud legacy of attention to safety, the environment, and the communities in which it exists
  • Ensure quality management systems are in place and functional
  • Ensure site quality systems remain current with ISO/QS quality system standards
  • Assist with updating documentation as appropriate
  • Develop methods to reduce site Quality Control costs, establish site Quality Control budgets, and make recommendations on capital investments in quality testing equipment in partnership with the quality team
  • Develop manufacturing operating plans following company policies, goals, and objectives
  • Optimize capital expenditures to sustain operations, drive safety and value, and deliver growth products
  • Deliver operational excellence through optimizing capacities, total cost-effectiveness, and value to the customer base
  • Ensure operation plans achieve targeted cost and efficiency results that maximize value for the business unit
  • Promote structure's continuous improvement utilizing methodologies such as Lean and Six Sigma
  • Execute plans for quality and process excellence that ensure consistent quality assurance and process excellence procedures, controls, and feedback

  • Ensure adequate people development plans and capable succession plans are in place
  • Participate with HR in other processes related to your team, such as selection, promotion, or compensation
  • Promote employee engagement initiatives to increase employee satisfaction
  • Design, develop, and implement production systems to meet customer requirements
  • Manage productivity and efficiencies using metrics and continuous improvement protocol
  • Perform other tasks as assigned
