job purpose: The Learning & Development Specialist will partner with the Learning & Development Manager to help plan, coordinate and facilitate enterprise-wide training programs. In addition, they will schedule, track and maintain learning records and activities. The L&D Specialist will aim to foster an environment of continuous learning and growth, which helps bridge skill gaps and drive organizational success.

responsibilities:

  • Create and acquire training guides and course materials.
  • Assist with developing training programs to fulfill specific capability needs.
  • Facilitate training programs in person and through virtual methods.
  • Plan and schedule internal and external hosted training activities in partnership with the facilitator.
  • Partner with Learning Management System (LMS) Administrator on uploading content, attendance tracking and reporting.
  • Evaluate program effectiveness through assessments, surveys, and feedback.
  • Maintain records of training and development activities, attendance, assessments, and retraining requirements to drive insights on course effectiveness and participation
  • Maintain knowledge of the latest trends in training and development.
  • Perform other related duties as required.

skills/qualifications required:

  • Bachelor‘s degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience required
  • Minimum of 2 years‘ experience performing training-related functions required
  • Meticulous project management and communication skills
  • Ability to communicate across levels to support the development of training programs
  • Ability to handle ambiguity and work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
