The Role
With very limited direction and oversight, the Director of Implementation provides day to day and strategic leadership to a team of Project Managers aligned to the CORE market. This role is responsible for applying expert knowledge of the implementation and large project process, providing strategic direction, making decisions complex problems to move the Workplace Investing business forward while managing a coordinated team of resources supporting Defined Contribution Project Managers.
The Expertise and Skills You Bring
Undergraduate degree is required
Candidates should have 15+ years business experience, with 7+ years managing associates
Experience with analysis and project life cycle methodologies (including work/process flow diagrams, case tool analysis, data flow diagrams)
Experience with 401k product offerings is preferred
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple resources across multiple locations who are working on sophisticated projects and tasks simultaneously.
Solid track record of developing, coaching and mentoring team members
Strong collaborative, negotiating, influencing, leadership and decision-making skills
Ability to maintain strong working relationships with internal stakeholders, resources, management, support staff, and third party vendors
Strong presentation skills and comfortable presenting in front of large groups, including to executives and clients
Ability to identify, define and execute upon opportunities for improvement and recommend alternative solutions to process inefficiencies.
Ability to solve a variety of problems with WI implications and impact, typically with very complex scope using exceptional problem solving, analytical, and project consulting skills
The Team
10-15 Implementation Project Managers Ranging from Grade 4-Grade6.
The Implementation Project Management team is responsible for all conversions and corporate actions for all plans with assets less than $100M and on the Volume Submitter Document.
