Job Title: Instrumentation and Controls Engineer

Job Duration: 1 year to start, conversion to permanent within the 3-6 month mark.

Job Location: Onsite; client in Boise, ID

Additional Notes: Will be open to relocation for the right applicant.


Job Description:

  • Work on projects including state of the art industrial and commercial facilities.
  • You’ll be accountable for schedule and technical quality of challenging engineering tasks, as you gain familiarity with the clients expectations, scope, budget, and schedule.
  • You’ll also provide on-site assistance during startup, coordinate work activities with other staff members and the discipline lead.
  • Your multi-discipline, highly interactive team will produce designs for electrical circuits and panels utilizing control applications, designs for control systems for a variety of processes, and develop options and optimizations for all aspects of the process control, instrumentation, and automation.


Job Related Experience:

  • Preferred Level: 6 Years


Education:

  • Preferred Level: Bachelor's degree from an ABET accredited university
  • Preferred Majors: Engineering


Licenses / Certifications (preferred not required):

  • EIT or PE ideal


Skills Required:

  • At least 6 Years of experience working with Instrumentation and Controls.
  • Working knowledge of PLC, DCS, and other controls applications.
  • Experience related to semiconductor fabrication facilities.
  • Experience reviewing vendor submittal packages against client requirements and specifications.
  • Field experiences interacting with subcontractors and construction personnel.


Skills Desired:

  • Ideally, you’ll have an Engineer in Training (EIT) certification or Professional Engineer (PE) license.
