The Position: We’re looking for Project Structural Engineer (Restoration) with an active Professional Engineer license in the State of Indiana.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Civil / Structural Engineering (pay commensurate with degree earned).
  • 5-10 years of experience working at a structural engineering firm focused on restoration projects.
  • Structural and forensic analysis related to restoration projects.
  • Experience with AutoCAD and Bluebeam Revu required.
  • Experience with Revit is highly recommended.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite required.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Construction background preferred.


Responsibilities:

  • Working independently and in teams to assess existing structures and develop repair designs for structures in need of repair.
  • Perform and lead field activities.
  • Create and review repair drawings and specifications.
  • Serve as a designated Client contact on various projects.
  • Assist the Project Manager with day-to-day activities and attend client project meetings as requested.
  • Collaborating in-house with other engineers and draftsmen to validate designs and develop repair drawings.
  • Communicating directly with clients, contractors, and design consultants to help guide projects from start to finish.
