Responsibilities:

  • Assist project managers and senior-level team members with daily tasks and projects.
  • Develop and implement engineering alternatives and solutions.
  • Gain a broad, well-rounded learning experience within the field of civil engineering.
  • Perform calculations, data entry, and exposure to CAD, GIS, design, and Civil 3D.
  • Assist with field work for data collection, site inspections, and observations.
  • Prepare spreadsheets, graphs, and figures for design reports.
  • Observe and attend meetings with project stakeholders.
  • Monitor and record work and progress of contractors while tracking material quality and usage.
  • Work with field inspections teams for oversight of transportation construction projects.

Requirements:

  • Pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Construction, or Architecture.
  • Willingness to learn new skills.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of software relevant to the position.
